Bloghaus Revival Mix, Pt. 1

Really, it’s perfectly OK not to feel any nostalgia for the circa-2007 era this mix wallows in. (Not to mention that when the mix went up in October 2015, it was literally the first time I’d seen anyone spell “blog house” that way — certainly not in 2007, though subsequent readings have made me wonder.) But you can think of this set — there was at least one sequel — as less as a throwback than a testing ground and let the riches settle around you: loads of Ed Banger bangers, Fred Falke’s Whitest Boy Alive remix (his masterpiece), the Gossip’s contribution to history, et al. I still prefer A-Trak’s volume of FabricLive, number 45, from 2019, but then I prefer that to many things.
