Bell’s versatile voice switched between guerrilla warfare on the ground and soaring airstrikes (new bassist Christian Olde Wolbers’s contribution amount remains controversial). “Replica” and the title track make for fierce weapons in their arsenal, but the towering glory of “Zero Signal” delivers their most devastating strike against Skynet.
