Essential Mix (June 2015)

A young veteran from Göthenburg (some aliases, some releases, a 2013 anointment from Pete Tong) who plays like he’s got something to prove — namely, that he knows how to command a vista. He does. The first twenty minutes or so play like a long, frosty tease to a groove that hovers as much as it bounds, and the second hour kicks off with an unreleased Rathsman track that sounds like an alternate-universe hit. Recommended as a next step after DJ Koze’s DJ-Kicks.
