Faces of a Queen

Released

Having worked with her band Black Fortress of Opium for many years as well as various collaborative, soundtrack and live session ventures, Adja Snyder steps out fully under her favored pseudonym as a solo artist with Faces of a Queen, riding the moody vibes of her earlier work to create another stellar set of fierce, focused rock that could be called goth, bluesy country, dark Americana and more besides. With Martin Bisi handling the mixing, songs like “Ashes” and “Lovin’ Bad Boys and Outlaws” showcase her singing and playing excellently.
