Game Over

When Bark Psychosis went into temporary abeyance after Hex as Graham Sutton concentrated on work as Boymerang, their old label 3rd Stone decided to do another compilation in 1997 – very confusingly partially replicating Independency but replacing some of its tracks with other offerings. It adds some rarities, such as the unreleased “Murder City,” the standalone “Blue” single, an early live “Pendulum Man,” and their low-key, bemusing cover of “Three Girl Rhumba” for a Wire tribute album, but it makes for a strangely duplicative effort all around.
