The British sax/drums duo of Binker Golding and Moses Boyd make a big, bold statement on their second studio album. The first disc features just the two of them, head to head in an intensely rhythmic fashion that sometimes recalls Sonny Rollins in calypso mode, and other times gets raucously free. The second disc, meanwhile, brings in a crew of guests including saxophonist Evan Parker, trumpeter Byron Wallen, harpist Tori Handlsey, tabla player Sarathy Korwar, and second drummer Yussef Dayes for a mind-expanding spiritual jazz excursion.
