Kings of Oblivion

Released

With only the rhythm section remaining from previous incarnations, these rosy Sidhe brought in future Motorheadcase Larry Wallis for the guitar bashing, and boy was that the best decision they ever made. Post-mod and pre-punk, they took porcine flight on this third album with spiky takes on The Who’s maximum R&B on tracks like the epic gender dysphoria tale “I Wish I Was a Girl” and the grimy “City Kids” (also covered by Wallis’s next act). Too much disagreement brought the band down after this but it’s a nasty little bite of early 70s British bile.
