Another with the Froese/Baumann/Franke lineup, an omission from Cope’s canon that many have noted. (Leave Cope alone, though! He has his tastes and you have yours. Calm down!) This one may have seemed less hip to the hipmakers because this is where Froese does not, in fact, choose violence. He turns his arpeggiators towards the light and we start to get a more benevolent valley in which to recline. It feels like a synthesizer made this album without the intervention of humans and I love that. It’s a peaceful moment here for the Tangerines. The sun has entered the chat.
