If you were able to crossbreed Lana and Taylor, you would be too powerful. Ethel Cain is as close as anyone has come yet, but it weirdly hasn’t led to superstardom. She’s a better singer than either (sorry) and too weird and smart for the game she’s gotten herself into. And as much as she rides the money train into the cybercenter of major label madness, she is still a goth and those are hard to sell to the cheap seats.
