Prince Charming

Released

Having become a UK superstar thanks to Kings Of The Wild Frontier, Adam Ant and company barely took a breath (plus doing a lineup switch on bass) before their followup album Prince Charming helped cement things further. His songwriting partnership with Marco Pirroni was in full effect, with both the amazing glam highwayman fashion anthem “Stand and Deliver” and the slinking heat of the title track going number one in the UK, while everything from a hip-hop dabbling with “Ant Rap” to invocations of Picasso, voodoo and, well, sex is in the mix.
