The London-based singers venture to the Icarian heights demanded by the Elizabethan composer’s beguiling set of 1595 duets without any signs of turbulence or insecurity. Instead, they shimmer in the sun-drenched upper reaches of their registers — when it’s time to come down, they do so gently, and wholly of their own accord.
