Belgians made kraut jazz, you bet they did, and vocalist Pasacale Son kinda makes this one. For one thing, this is an album of songs, not simply jams, though there is an expansive and loose vibe that keeps this firmly in kraut-adjacent territory. Think about this like an evil CTI album, and you’re close, and in sections it feels like a really slow Donna Summer record? Very underrated.
