A truly one-of-a-kind record, this full length collaboration between avant rhyme artist Aceylone and record collector/producer Mumbles is a classic underground hip-hop album, a cohesive concept album, and a masterpiece of introspective rhyming over dusty, jazz-inflected beats. This sounds over-the-top, and perhaps it is, but it is impossible to listen to this record and not learn something about the philosophical self, about what it means to be human. Recommended if you like: rap music, being alive in a world of disappointment and wonder, jazz fusion breaks.
