Difficult Messages

There is a kind of music that comes up from the stomach that bypasses any restraining mechanisms that is what it is and that wants none of your piety and has no truck with utility. You hear it in the Butthole Surfers and Merzbow and Pharmakon and Wolf Eyes. This album was made by original wolves Nate Young and John Olson in collaboration with a host of colleagues working through the electronic and physical post, with the results pressed as limited run 7-inches. I love the muck and honest ruckus of this music, so bracing in its commitment to do only what the moment demands. A genuine return to form (not that they have a single form or can really leave or return to it).
