Vegyn has become one of Frank Ocean’s go-to guys and it makes sense. He’s been on a complete tear the last few years, and this collection is peak stuff. There is a  benevolence to all of his rounded noises and chiming bloops, and he’s found a true peacemaker’s distance between whatever techno and hip-hop used to be, because I can’t tell you what beat approach Vegyn has, other than his own. A tropical digital daydream of sound.
