The Verve EP

Released

As with many bands of their era, the Verve started out by releasing a clutch of EPs and songs that didn’t make it over to their later full-length debut; unlike a lot of said bands, the group’s American label made a slightly convoluted attempt to lay some groundwork by including a number of those songs on an introductory EP — all this while the band itself still just went by Verve at the time. Regardless, The Verve EP does contain some memorable early efforts, like the agog anthem “Gravity Grave” and the lengthy, focused moodout “Feel.”
