Complete ‘B’ Sides

Such was the continuing impact of the Pixies during their lengthy hiatus that even after an initial best-of collection, a few years later a wholly new compilation emerged essentially living up to the title. Drawing on the various singles released over the course of their original four studio albums and including some wry liner notes from Black Francis, Complete ‘B’ Sides provides an alternate look at the band’s early years, including two separate Neil Young covers, a moodier “UK surf” version of “Wave of Mutilation” and a revamp of the theme to the video game Narc.
